More Olympics

Wassup yo!!!

We spend the whole day watching different event of the Olympic. Women Basketball and as expected china won but not a very proud victory i must say. The China team for Gymnast on the other hand is doing a fantastic job, i wanted to show you guys this little girl name Deng linlin doing the Bars, very petit the first youngest doing a reverse flip on the bar, incredible BUT she also fell splat on the floor with a little slip from her right hand. INTENSE i tell you. will keep searching it on youtube.

The downfall story of this Olympic is actually on us. YES the Bruneians, have you been reading the paper? but before that, i was watching the Opening Ceremony and i heard they mention BRUNEI DARUSSALAM but i wasn't sure what was it all about?!!! Now i know.

Read this " IN A STATEMENT YESTERDAY, THE BDNOC APOLOGISES TO THE CONCERNED ATHELETES AND TO ALL THE RELEVANT PEOPLE AND AUTHORITIES WHO WERE INVOLVED IN PREPARING THE TEAM TO TAKE PART IN THE OLYMPICS. IT ALSO WISHES TO EXPRESS ITS DEEPEST REGRET AND APOLOGISES TO THE PEOPLE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM WHO HAVE BEEN DENIED THE PRIDE AND JOY OF HAVING A BRUNEI CONTINGENT PARTICIPATE IN THE SPIRIT OF THE GAMES.

Why? " The Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council broke its silence with a press statement explaining that they were not able to send athelete to compete in the 2008 Beijing Olympiad DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORTS DID NOT ENDORSE ITS APPROVAL FOR THE ATHELETES TO PARTICIPATE.

I am proud to say i know most of the Athelete in BRUNEI and i am very sad to hear that. wow! speechless... i use to love Bastketball so much i played everyday, and i was training for this "so called National Team" it was very unorganised and without us noticing it, the team was dismiss. Reason? we don't deserve one, true!!! we didn't know why and they did not explain.

Bruneians are very talented, because of this tragedy i must say each one of us feel the embarassment. So let this be a lesson learn to us and let the new generation and the experience veteran work together for a better name and future.
