I've this perfect plan for a perfect Vacay, My husband and I applied leave and everything. been Ranting about Royal Brunei Airlines customer service endlessly just now but what for? no use right?!
Anybody can help me with this Questions?
1. If there's a Riot on other country especially the daily destination that most Bruneian go to.. I.e Bangkok. Don't you guys think that the representative from RBA should cancel all the flights and inform their customer, don't they have to think this matter thoroughly?
I heard and read the news. It says "Fly at own Risk" still?!! look at the paper today and listen to the news. It did not say the flight from Brunei to Bangkok is canceled.
2. Yes I called, all they can do is find us the next available seats to Bangkok, Hmm.. I'm not in a hurry now and BTW when is that going to be? If we want to divert we have to pay extra charges! *Sigh
3. What happened in Bangkok cannot be avoided YES I agree and understand but don't you guys think we should have our fair share of when do we want to go?
What if we can't take leave anymore? what if we are going to be busy with work for next couple of months?
4. Rather than talking to the counter I called the ticketing office, they said our ticket is only valid for a month. Hmm.. If we can't go within the 1 month, what will happened to our ticket? She said she can change it to another extension.
But I think it is just fair for them to give us an Open ticket now. So that the Vacay can be planned according to our availability. True, No?!
Riot happened and we happen to have a life, work, events and rules.

heya sista! chill yo..bnr bri sasak that the flight to bangkok kena postpone...ramai dah org merungut tu. But it's true like what you said, for them to be accountable for their actions atu the least they could do is not just to postpone the flight to an unknown date, but to provide another and better alternative rather just postponing it. I strongly suggest that they should offer a different flight perhaps to those destination with the same cost to that flight of bangkok? Furthermore if there were to be extra charges for "re-routing" the flight to a different destination it should be waived as customers are left with no choice.
But since you planned to go to bangkok, have you tried other airlines?
Sigh...everyone's flying off to somewhere for the hols, Brunei ni ah cuatah buat something happening kah..if nda party pun perhaps do a celebration for the new year atu bah? we can start it off with doa kesyukuran di padang atu then yknow..a perarakan after that..like tanglong kinda thing..at least ada lah ah for new year..or even tah a cultural show pun fine jugak and new year sale inda salah right?
But i'd still prefer if ada like new year concert kah apa..bah sis, gto the DST management organise tia concert new year..local artists, bands, and Disc Jockers, dancers..all those sorts.. hee~
